EXCLUSIVE: Cortez Smith, best known for playing Nuck on Showtime’s hit series The Chi, has signed with Exclusive Artists Agency for representation and Untamed Artists LA for management.
Smith has portrayed Nuck, the street-savvy, master manipulator villain on the show for six seasons. The eighth and final season of Lena Waithe’s drama series premiered late May on Paramount+.
Born and raised in Chicago, Smith has also appeared in indie films Please, Predators, Scheming, Loyalty Over Trust and the upcoming features Perfect Murder and Kwik Stop.
Smith is now represented by agent Rebecca Ek, who founded Exclusive Artists Agency in 2023, and is managed by Brenda Fisher, co-founder of Untamed Artists LA.
