‘Lee Cronin’s The Mummy’ Sets HBO Max Release Date

Horror fans take note. Lee Cronin’s The Mummy will begin streaming on HBO Max on Friday, July 3 and will premiere on HBO linear on Saturday, July 4.

Released on April 17 by New Line Cinema, and directed and written by Cronin, the film stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy and Natalie Grace with Verónica Falcón.

In the supernatural horror pic, the young daughter of a journalist disappears into the desert without a trace—eight years later, the broken family is shocked when she is returned to them, as what should be a joyful reunion turns into a living nightmare.    

The Warner Bros. film, which opened with $13.5M stateside and $34M global, has taken in $90.4M worldwide.
