When does Elle Season 2 come out?

A release date has not yet been set for Season 2, but as mentioned above, production has already wrapped.

Yes, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (The Boys, Never Have I Ever) has joined season two. She will portray a foil to Elle, Sam, the editor-in-chief of the school newspaper, which she also founded. These two could not be more opposites, especially when it comes to Elle’s love for Cosmopolitan and Sam’s commitment to AP Style and grammar.

Who else is in the cast of Elle Season 2?

June Diane Raphael plays Elle’s mother Eva, and Tom Everett Scott portrays her father Wyatt. Gabrielle Policano plays Elle’s new Seattle bestie Liz, Jacob Moskovitz stars as track athlete Miles, Chandler Kinney plays Elle’s previous nemesis Kimberly, and Zac Looker stars as Dustin, an advocate for justice.

Recurring cast members include Jessica Belkin, Logan Shroyer, Amy Pietz, Matt Ober, Chloe Wepper, David Burtka, Brad Harder, Kayla Maisonet, and Lisa Yamada. It’s unclear whether Danielle Chad will be back after the way things play out for her character, Shannon, in Season 1. One other character associated with Shannon will not be returning, and those who have watched will know.

James Van Der Beek’s final role before his death in Feb. 2026 occurred in season one, that of Dean Wilson.

What will Elle Season 2 be about?

“We pick up in Season 2 right after Season 1 ends. So the cliffhangers that we’ve left you with in Season 1, you will not have to wait long to see how those are going to be resolved,” showrunner Laura Kittrell told Deadline.

This goes for Elle and her love triangle, Liz and Kimberly’s romance and Elle’s parents’ struggles.
