Russell Brand arrived in a London court for a pre-trial hearing earlier this morning as one of the nation’s most high-profile celebrity trials gets ready to begin.
Brand was snapped outside Southwark Crown Court around an hour early for his hearing, which precedes the main trial starting Monday October 12. He stayed silent after arriving in a black Mercedes as he was photographed by the press pack wearing trademark grey suit, white open shirt and sunglasses.
The pre-trial hearing is expected to last two full days. The trial proper starts on Monday and is anticipated to last around 10 to 12 weeks. It will likely draw enormous press coverage around the world.
Brand has pled not guilty to all charges: three counts of rape, three charges of sexual assault, and one allegation of indecent assault. The accusations come from six women and span a decade from 1999 to 2009.

Brand is currently on bail and has turned up to hearings before in London, where he has pled not guilty.
Detectives started investigating Brand more than two years ago following a Channel 4 and Sunday Times investigation.
Brand, who previously appeared in Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek and in the past was a fixture on British TV screens, has in more recent years taken to social media platforms like Rumble to get his message across.
