The stars of ‘Monster: The Lizzie Borden Story’ gathered at the New York premiere of the Netflix hit anthology crime series starring Ella Beatty, Vicky Krieps, Charlie Hunnam, and Rebecca Hall.
Taking place at Pulitzer Fountain, the cast was joined by creators Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan, and co-stars Billie Lourd, Oliver Spenceman, Jessica Barden and Joey Pollari.
The story follows the true-crime story of Lizzie Borden, a repressed daughter, portrayed by Ella Beatty, and her rebellious live-in maid, Bridget Sullivan. Played by Vicky Krieps (who was given the nickname “Maggie”), the two find themselves trapped in a house built on humiliation and psychological cruelty. Together, they escape into a dark fantasy of illicit desire, power, and bloody revenge. The gruesome unsolved murders that follow don’t just shock the world—they give birth to an icon who refuses to live imprisoned in a cage, choosing instead to forge her own legend: shocking, monstrous, and gloriously free.
The series is released on Netflix on September 17, 2026.
