Banijay Entertainment has confirmed Patrick Holland will be Executive Chairman and CEO of Banijay UK following the merger with All3Media.
The news was widely expected and is now official. This means Holland, who was held the same role at the pre-merger Banijay UK, will oversee around 40 labels at the combined company, including the likes of Studio Lambert, Initial and Neal Street Productions.
Productions from the group include Half Man, Peaky Blinders and Last One Laughing, along with The Buccaneers, SAS Rogue Heroes, MasterChef, Big Brother, Would I Lie to You? and the upcoming Netflix reality show Will You Marry Me?.
Holland will report to Banijay Entertainment CEO Marco Bassetti. How he integrates the All3 labels will be of interest to the international market, with many sources privately questioning how All3’s hands-off, federal model will mesh with the more collective approach at Banijay.

Former BBC Two controller and BBC factual chief Holland joined Banijay UK in May 2022 and launched the the Banijay UK Growth fund year later, which has led to M&A deals for the likes of The Forge and Garrison Drama.

Prior to Banijay, Holland was Director, Factual, Arts & Classical Musicat the BBC and before that oversaw BBC Two. On the production side, he has held the role of Managing Director of Fremantle-owned producer Boundless.
