SPOILER ALERT: This post contains details on Big Brother Season 28, Episode 8, which aired on Thursday, July 23.
Julie Chen Moonves returned to host another live eviction of Big Brother, where a second housemate exited the house.
With the Survivor alum Rick Devens in power as the Head of Household, it was a wild week in the house.
As HOH, Rick targeted Jack “Rome” Seymour with a plan to backdoor him, but he didn’t put him on the block. Instead, Rick nominated Jason de Puy, Melody Morris, and Lyric Medeiros. Everything went according to plan as Rick kept all the power and secured the Power of Veto, taking Lyric off the block and replacing them with Rome.
Jason, Melody and Rome are the three houseguests up for eviction, but not all was lost for them as they still had another shot at safety with the BB Block Buster competition. On live eviction night, the trio would compete, with the winner gaining safety and taking themselves off the block.
