Meredith Lavender & Marcie Ulin Ink First-Look Deal With MGM Television; ‘My Mom’s Murder’ At Hulu Among First Projects

EXCLUSIVE: Former The Flight Attendant & Nashville executive producers Meredith Lavender and Marcie Ulin have signed a first-look deal with MGM Television. Under the deal, Lavender and Ulin will develop and produce new television series projects for the studio.

Lavender and Ulin are currently consulting producers on Amazon and Temple Hill’s upcoming series Rose Hill and recently sold their series My Mom’s Murder, starring Chloë Grace Moretz, to Hulu with MGM Television.

Lavender and Ulin are best known as the showrunners and executive producers of HBO Max’s hit series The Flight Attendant, which received two Emmy nominations including Outstanding Comedy SEries and Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for star Kaley Cuoco, along with Golden Globe, Critics Choice and WGA Awards nominations. The series, which ran for two seasons on HBO Max, ranked as the streamer’s No, 1 show during its run.

Previously, Lavender and Ulin served as executive producers on ABC’s Nashville, for which they received a 2013 WGA Award nomination for New TV Series.
