Big Brother made a splash with its summer return to CBS.
Through its first two weeks, Season 27 is averaging 4.8M multi-platform viewers across five episodes, up 9% from last summer during that time frame, per numbers shared by Paramount Global that incorporate both Nielsen’s linear data with the company’s internal streaming data.
That’s after a strong premiere week, where the first two episodes of the season pulled an average of 4.9M viewers after seven days, marking an 11% increase over the year prior.
On streaming alone, viewing is up 9% versus last season, Paramount Global says.
So far, Big Brother is the No. 2 broadcast show of the summer. It’s also No. 6 across all of broadcast and SVOD for summer series.
