A man has pleaded guilty to stalking Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas.

According to the BBC, Kyle Shaw has admitted stalking the TV star between 2017 and 2023. He also admitted possession of a quantity of cannabis.

Shaw will be sentenced on April 1, the BBC reported.

The stalking took place during the time that Ballas has been a judge on the BBC entertainment juggernaut. Ballas has been a judge for seven years and many years before that she won numerous trophies as a competitive dancer.

The news comes after what has been a difficult few months for Strictly Come Dancing. Just prior to the launch of the latest season, two professional dancers exited amid misconduct allegations.
