The project reunites Colman with FX where she starred in Great Expectations and most recently guest starred on The Bear, earning an Emmy nomination last year. It was her fifth Emmy nomination; Colman won for The Crown in 2021. (She also has a Children’s and Family Emmy Award for Heartstoper.) On the feature side, Colman has three Oscar nominations, winning in 2019 for The Favourite. She stars opposite John Lithgow in Jimpa, which premiered at Sundance, and opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in Jay Roach’s upcoming The Roses, a reimagining of The War Of The Roses.

Treem co-created and showran the Showtime series The Affair, which ran for five seasons and won a Golden Globe for Best Drama series. Her resume includes writer-producer stints on Netflix’s House Of Cards and HBO’s original iteration of In Treatment. As a playwright, her most recent work, When We Were Young and Unafraid, was staged in New York with Cherry Jones in the lead.
