It’ll be a while until viewers return to the apocalyptic wasteland in Prime Video‘s Fallout, but, nevertheless, Walton Goggins is providing an update to the second season of the breakout drama.
Speaking to Deadline at the red carpet premiere of The White Lotus Season 3, The Righteous Gemstones alum promised a bigger and better Season 2.
“We’re in the middle of filming it right now, we’ve been at it since November, and I can tell you that I thought Season 1 was extraordinary, personally, I was very pleased with it,” he said. “This blows it out of the water, what these writers have done and the artisans that have come together to tell this story. It’s really gonna be something. I can’t wait for people to see it. We’re working really hard to make that happen.”
Fallout, which moved its filming locale from New York to Los Angeles following a $25 million tax credit, briefly delayed its return to production due to the California wildfires. Based on the video game of the same name from Bethesda Game Studios, the hit series follows the occupants of luxury fallout shelters who are forced to return to their retrofuturistic hellscape 200 years after the onset of the apocalypse.
