Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Indonesian streamer Vidio will release 14 titles this year, including its first-ever adaptation of a Korean IP.
The 14 titles for this year also include new installments of four popular series: Scandal 3, Santri Pilihan Bunda 2, Open BO 3 and Pertaruhan The Series 3.
Vidio will premiere action series Bad Guys this year, based on the 2014 Korean original series of the same title, created by Park Ji-Young and Kim Cheol-Yeon. The Indonesian adaptation will star Oka Antara, Dwi Sasono, Randy Pangalilla, Omara Esteghlal and Maudy Effrosina in a production by Base Entertainment in collaboration with CJ ENM Hong Kong.
The 10-episode series will follow police officer Jaka, who teams up with three prisoners to solve a serial murder case in his city. As they get closer to the truth, they uncover more corruption within the government and justice system.

Starring Naura Ayu, Fadi Alaydrus, Teuku Rassya and Yoriko Angeline, a sequel to the hit series Santri Pilihan Bunda will premiere this year. The first installment became one of Vidio’s most-watched titles in 2024 and the sequel will follow Aliza as she reunites with her husband Kinaan. However, their marriage faces new challenges from meddling in-laws and a third party.
Pertaruhan The Series 3 will release this year and star Jefri Nichol, Clara Bernadeth, Giulio Parengkuan, Aulia Sarah, Elang El Gibran, Maudy Effrosina and Ferry Salim. The action series will follow Elzan, who is determined to keep his life on track while ensuring Wulan’s safety. However, things spiral out of control when Elzan is accused of a murder and must fight to prove his innocence before his loved ones suffer.
Action drama Roman Dendam follows Tiana as she seeks revenge on Barli, a former hitman responsible for killing her parents. Together, they unravel a larger conspiracy involving powerful figures while developing an unexpected bond. The series will star Abimana Aryasatya, Tatjana Saphira, Faradina Mufti, Kiki Narendra, Ence Bagus, Agus Kuncoro, Mike Lucock and Agni Pratistha.
Romance and street-racing drama Theo & Ruza follows Theo, who is sent by a motorcycle gang to sabotage a rival group, but unexpectedly falls for Ruza, the sister of the gang’s leader. His loyalty is tested as he navigates love, betrayal, and danger. The series will star Yesaya Abraham, Haico Van der Veken, Anrez Adelio, Rayna Snova and Julian Jacob.
Comedy-drama Mama Mama Pengejar Cinta follows Adia, a 40-year-old woman, as she enlists the help of her closest friends to win back her ex-husband, who is planning to marry his much younger girlfriend. It will star Wulan Guritno, Asri Welas, Ari Wibowo and Masayu Anastasia.
Vidio will also make a foray into animation with its adaptation of the popular novel and live action film My Stupid Boss, which will be titled My Stupid Boss: The Animated Series. It will follow the story of Kerani, who hopes to escape the chaos caused by Bosman after being transferred to a branch office in a small town in Sarawak. However, Kerani’s dreams are soon shattered as the chaos continues due to Bosman’s actions. The animated series will be directed by Daryl Wilson, with voices from the original cast, including Reza Rahadian, Bunga Citra Lestari, and Chew Kin Wah.
Other titles on Vidio’s slate for 2025 include Benci Bilang Cinta, Jalinan Terlarang, Malam Pertama, Cinta Dalam Sujudku and Sugar Baby. The streamer currently has 4.3 million subscribers.
