Minka Kelly is focusing at the positives as she bids farewell to Ransom Canyon, which was canceled by Netflix after two seasons.
Kelly, who starred opposite Josh Duhamel in the Texas romantic drama, posted a video of her and Duhamel’s characters Quinn and Staten’s romantic journey, which saw plenty of ups and downs during the two seasons.
She accompanied the compilation of some signature Quinn-Staten scenes, largely from Season 1, with a message to the show’s fans.
She sounded philosophical about the cancellation, writing, “All good things must come to an end. And so it is,” before sharing her gratitude.

“Thank you all for giving us two beautiful seasons,” she said, adding, “Thank you forever my Ransom Canyon family.”
Ransom Canyon follows childhood friends-turned-star-crossed lovers Staten Kirkland (Duhamel) and Quinn O’Grady (Kelly) who never seem to be able to get their timing right.
The duo were tested again in the second season with Quinn getting briefly engaged to someone else but by the end, unlike the Season 1 finale which saw Staten and Quinn split up, they were in a good place — and very much together. In fact, as opposed as Season 1, the Season 2 closer of Random Canyon did not have any jaw-dropping cliffhangers, which would bring some consolation to fans who had invested in the series and its characters for two seasons.
April Blair served as showrunner, creator and executive producer. Executive producers included stars Duhamel and Kelly as well as Dan Angel, Bradley Gardner and Joe Fazzio.
