It’s that time again — Saturday mornings are for The Weekend Read. If you missed some of our meatier features from the past week, fear not, here’s a selection of them all in one spot.
This time we’re going back to the ’80s with Deadline columnist Baz Bamigboye as he reveals some of his tabloid reporter hijinks from back in the day and sits down with director Danny Boyle and writer James Graham to talk about the film Ink. As a showbiz correspondent on U.K. paper The Sun, it was all jetting around the world on Concorde and tailing rock stars and actors on the road. In this feature, Baz reveals some of his funniest anecdotes (think swimming off a yacht in search of Prince Andrew, hanging out with a drunk Richard Burton in his Dorchester suite, or dropping in on Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall at their French chateau).

With Ricky (Perry Mattfeld) in the know about his alter ego as Chad Powers, it seems for a moment like things might get easier. Sure, she’s pissed that she’s been roped into this in the first place, but especially considering her dad Coach Hudson (Steve Zahn) just had a heart attack, she’s not inclined to let the truth continue to spread.
In this interview, Michael Waldron, who created the show with Powell, reveals how they cooked up an even more tense second season.
