Maria Bartiromo Pink Slipped From Fox “Effective Today”
One of Donald Trump‘s favorite Fox anchors is now no longer with the Rupert Murdoch media empire
“Effective today, Maria Bartiromo is no longer with FOX News Media,” the company said of the Fox Business host.
“We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter,” Fox Media briskly added of the controversial Bartiromo.
The ouster does not have to do with the ex-CNBC star moving to another network, not scoring a plum White House gig, sources tell me. There has been speculation that Bartiromo could be named as Trump’s new press secretary.
Known as the “Money Honey” for her years covering Wall Street from floor of the New York Stock Exchange, Bartiromo was last on Fox Business air this morning. Mornings with Maria will now be called Morning with Fox Business and feature rotating hosts over the next few weeks.
