Daytime Emmy Nominations 2026 List (Updating Live)

Days after the Primetime Emmy noms were unveiled, we’re getting the first handful of nominations for the 2026 Daytime Emmys. Ahead of the full list that hits on Wednesday, the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has named the hopefuls in a few key categories.

See below for the stars and shows up for Daytime Talk Series Host and Lead Actor in a Daytime Drama.

The nominees in those categories were unveiled during Monday’s episodes of the syndicated Extra. Entertainment Tonight will reveal two more noms today, with noms in three more categories — including the marquee Outstanding Daytime Drama — to be announced during Tuesday’s episode of ABC’s The View.

Among the hopefuls for Daytime Talk Series Host are Kelly Clarkson and Sherri Shepherd, whose eponymous shows aren’t returning in the fall.

ABC’s General Hospital repeated its Drama Series triumph at last year’s Daytime Emmys.

“We’re proud to honor the extraordinary talent and creative teams whose work continues to define and elevate daytime television,” NATAS president and CEO Adam Sharp said in a statement. “As the Daytime landscape evolves and new forms of storytelling emerge, we remain committed to recognizing the innovation happening across the industry.”

Winners will be feted during the 53rd annual Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony October 30 in Hollywood. A host for the show has yet to be named.
