Netflix has dropped a new trailer for Calabasas Confidential ahead of its May 29 premiere.
Set in the trendy enclave of Calabasas, California, the reality series follows a group of lifelong friends, foes, and exes in the Los Angeles County city, made famous by the Kardashians. After graduating college, they return to Calabasas for a summer they’ll never forget.
Back home and living in their parents’ hillside mansions, they’ll be faced with the daunting reality of confronting unresolved drama while trying to define what’s next for their lives and relationships. Four years may have put distance between them, but new flames, old feuds, and unexpected secrets don’t stay hidden forever behind the gates of LA’s most envied zip code, per the logline.
“This is definitely going to be a summer to remember,” a voiceover is heard at the end of the trailer, pretty much summing up what we can all expect.

Cast includes Alexie Olivo, Ben Favaedi, Dylan Wolf, Emilie Nelson, Emma Medrano, Hercy Miller, Jemma Durrant, Jodie Woods, Kimora Lewis, Nicole Sahebi, Preston Pippen, Raine Michaels, Sterling Retzlaff and Suede Brooks.

Jeff Gaspin, who heads unscripted at Netflix, previously told Deadline that he wanted to bring “some of that magic back”.
“When someone in their 20s comes to visit Los Angeles, there’s two places they want to go, and it’s not Disneyland or Universal: It’s Calabasas and Erewhon. It kind of blows my mind,” Gaspin told Deadline. “I’m not a Calabasas native, but I moved here when I moved to L.A. in 2001. It used to be a pumpkin town and everyone would say, ‘Why are you moving all the way out there?’ But then, of course, a certain family moved in [to Hidden Hills] and put Calabasas on the map.”
Calabasas Confidential is produced by Wheelhouse’s Spoke Studios. Brent Montgomery, Courtney White, Gardner Reed, Will Nothacker, Ally Gasparian, Alex Rosenberg and Bill Dixon serve as executive producers.
