Jenna Elfman Joins Fox Drama ‘The Interrogator’

EXCLUSIVE: Jenna Elfman is to play Stephen Fry’s boss and handler in Fox drama series The Interrogator.

Elfman, who recently starred in three seasons of AMC’s Dark Winds, is the latest star to join the series, which was handed a 12-episode straight-to-series order for the 2026-27 season earlier this year.

She joins the likes of Luke Kleintank and Michael Beach as a series regular in the show.

The series, which comes from Lionsgate Television and Fox Entertainment Studios, is written, exec produced by and stars British comedian Fry.

Fry plays former MI6 agent Conrad Henry. When conventional methods have failed, Henry’s quirky charm, superior intellect and mind-bending behavioral maneuvers make him the only man able to lockpick the minds of the world’s most dangerous criminals.

Elfman plays Woodrow, who was a rising star in the CIA, until a mission gone awry sent her tumbling down the ladder. Now she finds herself at the D.I.A. as a handler for Henry’s group.  She sees it as a demotion — the first step on her climb back up to where she fell from.  She supervises Henry’s cases, pushes him and often quarrels with him — Conrad is always seven steps ahead and Woodrow is rarely more than five steps ahead. But the pair have a grudging mutual respect that makes for a fun, strange-bedfellows partnership.

The pilot script was written by Fry, with revisions from Matt Pyken as well as William Harper. Dan Dworkin and Jay Beattie are executive producers and showrunners. Fry exec produces alongside William Harper and Paul McGuigan, who will also direct, as well as Likely Story’s Anthony Bregman and Miriam Mintz, Matt Pyken, Neil Burger and Anonymous Content.

Elfman’s other recent credits include two seasons of ABC’s Shifting Gears, where she played Tim Allen’s love interest. She is best known for starring as Dharma in ABC’s Dharma & Greg and as June Dorie in six seasons of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead.

Elfman is repped by WME, Artists First, Latham & Watkins.
