Coming off his Oscar-nominated turn alongside Elle Fanning in Sentimental Value, Stellan Skarsgård will next star opposite her sister, Dakota Fanning. Skarsgård has joined Apple TV‘s upcoming Alex Cary thriller drama headlined and executive produced by Dakota Fanning, which Elle Fanning also executive produces.
In the untitled series, from Cary and Sony Pictures Television, Fanning stars as an undercover Treasury agent in a multibillion-dollar international conglomerate, with world-changing political and criminal tentacles, who becomes conflicted between her mission and a belief that her principal target, the heir apparent to all that corrupt power, is at his core a good man and worthy of her love.
Skarsgård will play Brandt, the head of the international conglomerate.
