Hayley Griffith (Satanic Panic) and Mia Challis (Outer Banks) are set as series regulars in Regency, CBS‘ historical comedy pilot, from Tara Hernandez and Warner Bros. Television.
Regency is a historical spin on the classic multi-cam family sit-com, centered around the upper-middle class Tillbrooks as they navigate life, love, and scandal in 19th Century England.
Griffith will play Maureen. The Tillbrook’s eldest daughter, Maureen is known for being poised and proper, though she returns home to Hartford Park with a scandalous secret. Fierce, worldly, and wise, Maureen will do anything to protect her only son Dougie from the fallout.
Challis will portray Wilhelmina, The Tillbrook’s youngest daughter, Wilhelmina is endearing but awkward. Stubbornly innocent and often misunderstood, Wilhelmina would rather climb trees than attend tea parties.

Griffith starred in the cult horror-comedy Satanic Panic and appeared in the Peacock original horror They/Them opposite Kevin Bacon. Additional film credits include the Netflix comedy Kinda Pregnant with Amy Schumer and a starring role in the feature adaptation of Martin Eden. Television credits include The Loudest Voice, Bull, Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll, The Mysteries of Laura, All My Children, and Law & Order: SVU. Griffith is represented by Gersh and Marilyn Zitner Management.
Challis’ television credits include Netflix’s Clickbait, CBS’s FBI: International and her breakout role as Ruthie in Netflix’s Outer Banks. In the feature space, Challis most recently was seen in horror feature Diabolic, and she received critical praise for her leading performance in The Last Bell. Challis is repped by 42, Stewart Talent and Moore Creative Artists in Australia.
