Heated Rivalry stars Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams were torchbearers in the lead-up to the 2026 Winter Olympics set at Milan-Cortina, Italy.
The actors have become a viral sensation after starring in the Crave series, which HBO Max streams in the U.S.
“Olympic Flame + Hudson Williams & Connor Storrie as torchbearers = ABSOLUTE CINEMA,” read the Instagram post from the official Olympics account.
Williams and Storrie became breakout stars, headlining the Jacob Tierney-created series, playing hockey players Shane Hollander andIlya Grigoryevich Rozanov. The show, based on the Rachel Reid novel series, follows two rival hockey players who have animosity on the ice rink but share a secret romance behind closed doors.
The Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 will stream on HBO Max in Europe, while in the U.S., the Olympics will air on NBC and will stream live on Peacock.
NBC is set to air the Opening Ceremony on Friday, February 6, beginning at 2 p.m. ET. Primetime coverage will begin at 8 p.m. ET/PT on NBC and Peacock.
The Opening Ceremony will feature performances by Mariah Carey and Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli. Additional performances from actress Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus) and renowned pianist Lang Lang will also be part of the event.
