FilmRise Buys Worldwide Rights To ‘The Infographics Show’, Digital Franchise That Tries To Make Complex Concepts Simpler

EXCLUSIVE: Radial Entertainment’s FilmRise has landed worldwide rights to YouTube franchise The Infographics Show.

Radial struck a multi-year deal with Infographics Show producer Dark Matter Design, financial terms of which weren’t disclosed. Included in the pact for Radial’s digital distribution subsidiary are all digital media rights, FAST, broadcast, airlines and ancillary rights.

The Infographics Show has built a strong online following with around 15.3 million YouTube subscribers and 6.6 billion views since Andrej Preston founded the channel in 2011.

The franchise seeks to turn complex topics into engaging, easy-to-understand stories through fast-paced animations and character-driven narratives. Subjects range from groundbreaking science, survival scenarios to military strategy, world history and true crime cases.

Following today’s deal, Radial and FilmRise will repurpose and curate its library into multiple seasons across seven series. These will comprise The Infographics Show: True CrimeThe Infographics Show: Mind & BodyThe Infographics Show: Science & NatureThe Infographics Show: Military & GovernmentThe Infographics Show: War & History, The Infographics Show: Prison & Punishment, and The Infographics Show: Society & Culture.

“Andrej Preston and Dark Matter Design have reshaped how audiences learn, discover, and stay entertained,” stated Jonitha Keymoore, Senior Vice President of Acquisitions at Radial. “The Infographics Show is a phenomenon, and FilmRise has been at the forefront of bringing creator-driven content to streaming platforms over the past four years. We’re excited to expand the show’s global reach.

As we revealed in July 2025, Radial was formed after Oaktree Capital Management acquired FilmRise, the indie digital streaming content distributor, and merged it with Shout! Studios, which had been bought two years prior. Radial has a library of over 70,000 movies and TV episodes, and distributes across FAST channels, ad-funded streaming, subscription streaming, physical products and theatrical.

Today’s deal comes in the same week Radial hired former Fremantle exec James Meyer to the newly-created role of Senior Vice President, International Sales and Distribution.

Carolyn Marcus, Director of Creator Partnerships at Radial, negotiated the Inforgraphics Show deal with and Alan Kronik of ThoughtLeaders on behalf of Dark Matter Design.
