‘SNL’ Alums Ego Nwodim & Devon Walker, Ziwe & Tituss Burgess Among 8 Cast In Prime Video’s ‘Barbershop’ Series

Saturday Night Live alums Ego Nwodim and Devon Walker, along with Ziwe, Tituss Burgess (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Zack Fox (Abbott Elementary), Diallo Riddle (South Side), Comedian CP, and Belmont Cameli (Off Campus) are set as guest stars in Barbershop, Prime Video’s comedy series based on the MGM movies, starring Jermaine Fowler.

The TV adaptation revolves around Travis “Trav” Porter (Fowler), who endeavors to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather, a legendary barber at the iconic “Calvin’s” barbershop in Chicago. And while the barbers are new, the shop remains just as lively, the customers just as argumentative, and the fades are still the dopest in the city — because at Calvin’s, the community comes together for way more than just a haircut.

Fox will play Alderman Warren, Nwodim will portray Shelly-Ann, Riddle will play Pastor Devante, Ziwe will portray Abbi, Burgess will play Juan Grillz, Comedian CP is Marvin, Walker will play Southside Swole and Cameli is Shep.
