Timothée Chalamet Thanks Kylie Jenner In Critics Choice Award Acceptance Speech: “I Couldn’t Do This Without You”

Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner were almost overshadowed at the start of the Critics Choice Awards by Hacks stars Paul W. Downs and Meg Stalter who cosplayed as the A-list celebrity duo, donning replicas of the viral orange outfits Chalamet and Jenner wore at the Los Angeles premiere of Chalamet’s movie Marty Supreme.

That changed in a big way by the end of the ceremony when Chalamet won Best Actor for his role as the title character in Mary Supreme. In a soundbite destined to break the Internet — which has been obsessing over the couple’s relationship status — and become as viral as Chalamet’s Mary Supreme campaign, he ended his speech by acknowledging Jenner. It’s believed to be the first time he has done so publicly on stage.

“Thank you to my partner for three years. I love you. I couldn’t do this without you,” Chalamet said, looking at Jenner. “Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Naturally, the camera cut to Jenner who was seen mouthing, “I love you.”

Chalamet also gave a shoutout to Josh Safdie, director, producer and co-writer of Marty Supreme, inspired by the life and career of American table tennis player Marty Reisman. ,

“Josh, you made a story about a flawed man with a relatable dream, you didn’t preach to the audience about what’s right and wrong, and I think we should all be telling stories like that,” Chalamet said. “So thank you for this dream.”
