EXCLUSIVE: Alyvia Alyn Lind (Wayward, Chucky) has been cast as a lead opposite Olivia Colman, Brie Larson and Shawn Hatosy in Cry Wolf, FX‘s limited series created by Sarah Treem.
The project, inspired by the Danish series Ulven Kommer (Cry Wolf) by Maja Jul Larsen, is a psychological family thriller following a social worker, Kath (Colman), and a mother, April (Larson), thrust into crisis when the mother’s teenage daughter, Mia (Lind), alleges abuse, pushing both women to their limits as they navigate an impossible situation.
Hatosy plays April’s husband and Mia’s stepfather who is at the center of the girl’s abuse allegations.

Also cast as a series regular is child actor Jack Greig as April’s son.
Produced by FX Productions, Cry Wolf is executive produced by Treem, who serves as showrunner, Colman via her South of the River Pictures, Melissa Bernstein of Special Interests and Larson.
Lind recently starred opposite Toni Collette in Netflix’s psychological thriller series Wayward. She played the female lead in the Syfy horror series Chucky and was part of the main cast of Roku’s The Spiderwick Chronicles and Netflix’s Daybreak. Lind also played the role of Dolly Parton in the NBC movie Dolly Parton’s Coat of Many Colors and its followup, Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, earning a Critics Choice Award nomination for the former.
Lind, whose feature credits include Blended, Overboard and Masquerade, is repped by CAA and Brecheen Feldman Breimer Silver Thompson.
Greig’s upcoming projects include roles in the TV series The Copenhagen Test and movies The Pond, Heart of the South and Father of Us. He is repped by DiCaro Talent Management.
