David Letterman is back with season six of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

The former late-night host recently sat down with Jay Kelly star Adam Sandler for a special episode. That episode, which aired on December 1, however, was not part of season six, which will premiere on December 16.

It comes after My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman was renewed by Netflix for seasons six and seven earlier this year.

The new season will feature interviews with Sinners star Michael B. Jordan, Beast Games star and content creator MrBeast, also known as Jimmy Donaldson and Black Rabbit star Jason Bateman.

The season six run is similar to season five with only three episodes; the show has had a fluctuating episode order in the past; season one consisted of six episodes, season two was five episodes, season three was four episodes and season four was six episodes.

Previous guests have included Barack Obama, Tina Fey, Jay-Z, Robert Downey Jr., Dave Chappelle, Miley Cyrus and Billie Eilish.

The series is produced by Jax Media and Worldwide Pants, Inc. Executive producers are Tom Keaney and Mary Barclay for Worldwide Pants; Justin Wilkes, Michael Steed, Isabel Richardson, and Yolanda T. Cochran for Jax Media/Imagine Entertainment.
