‘One Piece’ Casts Awdo Awdo & Daisy Head For Season 3

EXCLUSIVE: The cast of Netflix‘s One Piece for Season 3 is growing by two, as Awdo Awdo and Daisy Head (Shadow and Bone, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) board in the roles of Mr. 1 and Miss Doublefinger, respectively. The pair is currently in Cape Town, where production on the third season is underway.

One Piece is Netflix’s live-action adaptation of Japan’s highest-selling manga series by Eiichiro Oda. The epic high-seas adventure follows Monkey D. Luffy on his quest to find the legendary fabled treasure, the One Piece, and become King of the Pirates.

Season 2 of the pirate show promises to “unleash fiercer adversaries and the most perilous quests yet. Luffy and the Straw Hats set sail for the extraordinary Grand Line—a legendary stretch of sea where danger and wonder await at every turn. As they journey through this unpredictable realm in search of the world’s greatest treasure, they’ll encounter bizarre islands and a host of formidable new enemies.”

Season 2 will premiere on March 10.

The returning Straw Hat crew includes Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero as Usopp, and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday will also return alongside the Season 2 cast being upped to series regulars in Season 3: Mikaela Hoover as Chopper, Joe Manganiello as Mr. 0, Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday and Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefartari Cobra.

As was previously revealed, the new Season 3 cast also includes Cole Escola as Bon Clay and Xolo Maridueña as Portgas D. Ace.

The show is created in partnership with Shueisha and is produced by Tomorrow Studios (an ITV Studios partner) and Netflix. Matt Owens and Joe Tracz serve as co-showrunners, writers and executive producers of Season 2, with Tracz teaming with Ian Stokes on Season 3. Additional executive producers include Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein and Becky Clements through Tomorrow Studios, Tetsu Fujimura, Chris Symes, Christoph Schrewe and Steven Maeda.

Awdo is repped by Gersh, Gilchrist Management and Vault Entertainment.

Head is repped by Gordon & French and Luber Roklin.
