The Daytime Emmy Awards red carpet was rolled out today as stars of daytime television gathered at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California, to celebrate their achievements.
Mario Lopez is set to host the ceremony, with a wide array of presenters including daytime drama favorites like Deidre Hall and Scott Clifton, alongside lifestyle and talk personalities such as Carla Hall and Ross Mathews. The event celebrates outstanding achievement across genres, including daytime dramas, talk shows, and culinary programming, recognizing work that has been honored since 1974.

The broadcast will feature significant tributes to television legends. Deborah Norville, the longest-serving female anchor in American television history, will be honored with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award. Additionally, this year’s class of Gold & Silver Circle Inductees includes notable figures such as Star Jones (Divorce Court, The View) and Jane Elliott (General Hospital), acknowledging their long-standing and impactful careers in the industry.

This year’s ceremony debuts several new categories. These additions include Outstanding Culinary Cultural Series, Outstanding Emerging Talent in a Daytime Drama Series, and Outstanding Regional Content in a Daytime Genre. These new awards reflect the evolving landscape of daytime television and broaden the scope of achievements recognized by the Daytime Emmy Awards.
