The second season will see 456 brand-new contestants compete in a series of challenges or as Netflix calls it the “ultimate test of strategy, alliances, and endurance” with only one person walking away with the prize.

The teaser suggests that contestants will be playing some of the new games that appeared in seasons two and three of the scripted series.

When it launched Squid Game: The Challenge gave away the largest prize in reality TV history, although it has since been usurped by Amazon’s Beast Games, which handed the winner $10M.

It is exec produced by Nicola Brown and John Hay for The Garden, Tim Harcourt, Stephen Lambert, Nia Yemoh and Stephen Yemoh for Studio Lambert and Anna Kidd and Nick Walker.
