‘Emily In Paris’ Adds Bryan Greenberg & Michèle Laroque To Season 5 Cast; Nico & Laurent G Latest Characters Set To Return

Lily Collins’ Emily will meet a fellow American expat in the upcoming fifth season of Netflix’s hit comedy Emily In Paris. Bryan Greenberg (Suits LA) has joined the cast as recurring, playing Jake, an American living in Paris. Also set to recur in Season 5 is French actress Michèle Laroque (Better Days) who will play Yvette, an old friend of Sylvie’s (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu). Jake and Yvette are two of the three known new recurring characters that will be introduced next season, along with previously announced Princess Jane, played by Minnie Driver.

Additionally, confirmed to return for Season 5 are Paul Forman, who has been recurring since Season 3 as businessman, heir and Mindy’s love interest Nico, as well as Arnaud Binard, who has recurred since Season 2 as Sylvie’s husband Laurent G.

Nico’s return is particularly noteworthy given his painful breakup with Mindy (Ashley Park) at the end of Season 4, which left her heartbroken. Meanwhile, in addition to business issues, Sylvie and Lauren G may have to navigate her recent fling with an old flame in Rome.

Watch on Deadline

Jake joins Emily and Genevieve, who was introduced last season, as the third major American character on the show next season; the most Emily In Paris has ever had at one time.

Currently filming in Paris after four weeks in Rome, Season 5 of Emily In Paris will premiere globally on Netflix in 2025.
