We’re getting a look at some of the first footage of Task, HBO‘s upcoming drama series from Mare of Easttown creator Brad Ingelsby.
Mark Ruffalo and Tom Pelphrey star in the seven-episode series set for premiere this September on HBO and streaming on HBO Max. Episodes will drop weekly.
“There’s been a spate of home invasions,” begins the trailer. “At least nine houses have been hit.”
Created by Ingelsby, in Task, set in the working class suburbs of Philadelphia, an FBI agent (Ruffalo) heads a Task Force to put an end to a string of violent robberies led by an unsuspecting family man (Pelphrey).
Cast also includes Emilia Jones, Jamie McShane, Sam Keeley, Thuso Mbedu, Fabien Frankel, Alison Oliver, Raúl Castillo, Silvia Dionicio, Phoebe Fox, and Martha Plimpton.
