Ana Ortiz has starred in multiple hit series, such as Devious Maids and Ugly Betty.
As new viewers discover these shows through streaming platforms, some want to see a continuation to those stories.
While appearing on Watch What Happens Live to talk about Bravo and the new season of the Disney+ series Goosebumps, a fan asked Ortiz if there had been any discussion of making an Ugly Betty reunion special.
“There’s been so much talk about [doing an Ugly Betty reunion special],” Ortiz said.
The Love, Victor alum also noted that she still hangs out with the cast of the ABC series, saying, “I literally just texted with Michael Urie. I see Mark Indelicato probably every day. America [Ferrera] is my son’s godmother. Judith Light is my son’s godfather, because we got two for the price of one with Judith and Robert [Desiderio, her husband].”

“We’re very, very close and we’re all really wanting to do a reunion,” Ortiz added.
Host Andy Cohen said that another question fans were asking if a Devious Maids reboot could be made in the future.
“Again, those are all my sisters. One hundred percent we would love to do a reunion, for sure,” she said.
Ortiz starred in Ugly Betty throughout its four-season run on ABC, playing the role of Hilda Suarez, sister to Ferrera’s Betty. The series was an English-language adaptation of the Colombian telenovela Yo Soy Betty, La Fea.
In 2013, Ortiz would go on to star in Devious Maids in the lead role of Marisol Suarez. The Lifetime series was created by Marc Cherry at ABC Studios and based on Eugenio Derbez’s Televisa series Ellas… son la alegría del hogar, which ran for four seasons.
