SPOILER ALERT! This post contains details from the Season 12 finale of The Masked Singer, including the winner and their identity.
The Masked Singer crowned a Season 12 victor on Wednesday night.
In the spirit of the holiday season, the episode opened with a performance of “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year” from Season 5 winner Nick Lachey. But before long, the showdown between the Wasp and the Buffaloes began.
Each had two final performances to convince the judges and the audience that they deserved the Golden Mask Trophy. The Wasp kicked things off with a soulful rendition of “When I Was Your Man” by Bruno Mars.
The Buffaloes followed that up with their version of “Somebody That I Used To Know” by Gotye.

For their second performances, The Wasp opted for Whitney Houston’s “I’m Your Baby Tonight,” while The Buffaloes went with “Too Good At Goodbyes” by Sam Smith.
With that, it was time to cast the final votes and crown a champion! The Buffaloes came out on top, leaving The Wasp in second place. They made history as the first group ever to win The Masked Singer, according to host Nick Cannon.
Then, it was time for the reveal…drumroll please…The Wasp is none other than Mario. As for The Buffaloes, turns out it’s Boyz II Men.
