Trump was originally set to appear alongside Vice President Kamala Harris as part of a special election episode, as the network had planned to air interviews with both candidates next Monday night. While correspondent Bill Whitaker will still interview Vice President Harris, the network confirmed that Trump’s campaign informed them of the cancellation earlier on Tuesday but that the invitation to Trump remains open
