Noomi Rapace, Ramzy Bedia, Sean Harris & Corrado Invernizzi Cast In ‘Assassin’s Creed’ TV Adaptation

Noomi Rapace, Ramzy Bedia, Sean Harris and Corrado Invernizzi are the latest to be cast in Netflix’s Assassin’s Creed series adaptation of the popular Ubisoft video game from showrunner and executive producer Robert Patino and David Wiener. They join the previously announced Lola Petticrew, Toby Wallace, Zachary Hart, Laura Marcus, and Tanzyn Crawford.

Assassin’s Creed, the series, is a high-octane thriller centered on the secret war between two shadowy factions — one set on determining mankind’s future through control and manipulation, while the other fights to preserve free will. The series follows its characters across pivotal historical events as they battle to shape humanity’s destiny.

Details regarding the characters Rapace, Bedia, Harris and Corrado will play are under wraps.

Since the Assassin’s Creed franchise launched in 2007, Ubisoft has sold over 230 million games worldwide, becoming one of the best-selling series in video game history. It was adapted as a feature in the 2016 Assassin’s Creed, directed by Justin Kurzel and starring Michael Fassbender. In 2017, Ubisoft originally signaled its plans for an Assassin’s Creed TV series.

The new series joins Netflix’s other video game adaptations, including CastlevaniaCyberpunk: Edgerunners and the upcoming Splinter Cell: DeathwatchArcane, based on Riot Games’ League of Legends gaming franchise, became an Annie- and Emmy Award–winning animated series.

Gerard Guillemot, Margaret Boykin, Austin Dill, Genevieve Jones for Ubisoft Film & Television, and Matt O’Toole serve as executive producers.
