40 Of The Biggest Super Bowl LX Commercials Featuring Famous Faces

Super Bowl LX saw the Seattle Seahawks defeat New England Patriots in Santa Clara, CA on February 8.

The game had plenty of storylines — the post-Brady/Belichick Patriots trying to make their mark; Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold’s redemption arc — and features a rematch of a memorable 2015 Super Bowl won by the Patriots on the game’s final play. Despite all of that, let’s face it: Many of the 100 million-plus people tuning in are mainly looking forward to the halftime show and the ads. Especially the ads.

NBCUniversal, which will air the game on NBC and Telemundo as well as streaming it for Peacock subscribers, sold out of Super Bowl ad inventory last September.  Rates for a single ad eventually hit a record $10 million. The month has been dubbed “Legendary February” by NBCU, which will also bring broadcasts of the Winter Olympics from Milan-Cortina, Italy, and the NBA All-Star game from the Intuit Dome, home of the L.A. Clippers.

Celebrities were back in the Super Bowl ad mix, continuing a trend over the past few years, with a glittery roster featuring everyone from Kyle Kelce to Ben Stiller to Emma Stone. Clean-cut, upbeat comedy will once again be the dominant mode, though a few advertisers tried to tug at the heartstrings or take big branding swings. AI and GLP-1s were prominent amongst frequent brands like Ritz, Dunkin’ and more. Well-known directors like Yorgos Lanthimos, Taika Waititi, Joseph Kosinski and more also shaped certain ads with their vision.

Teasers have become more popular. Brands look to workshop their campaigns on social media and sometimes even in pre-Super Bowl linear timeslots by releasing 6- or 8-second versions of what will air as a 30-second spot. Often, the on-air 30 will be offered in extended 60- or 90-second versions on YouTube.

• Emma Stone Stars In Squarespace Spot

  

  Squarespace’s 12th Super Bowl ad will feature Poor Things Oscar winner and Bugonia Oscar nominee Emma Stone. Airing between the first and second quarters of the big game, the ad spot marks the latest collaboration between Stone and Yorgos Lanthimos, with a tearful teaser from the actress having launched, hinting at a mysterious building in black and white tones.

• Kurt Russell And Lewis Pullman Lead Michelob Ultra Commercial

  

  Actors Kurt Russell and Lewis Pullman (Thunderbolts*) make their Super Bowl commercial debut in a spot for Michelob Ultra. The ad will also feature Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim and Olympian and NHL champion T.J. Oshie. Greg’s friends seem to depend on him as their credit card. Top Gun: Maverick and F1 filmmaker Joseph Kosinksi directed the commercial.

• Benson Boone & Ben Stiller For Instacart

  

  Ben Stiller – director, actor, writer, and producer – stars alongside multi-platinum recording artist Benson Boone, in a spot directed by award-winning filmmaker and director Spike Jonze. Stiller plays Gary and Boone plays John. Sadly there is no flip from Boone so far.

• Bowen Yang Brings Salty Humor To Ritz Crackers Commercial

  

  Bowen Yang brings the saltiness to a teaser for Ritz’s big game ad, featuring him picking up a shell-phone and quipping to someone on the other line whom he promises not to call “prosciutto.” That someone turns out to be actor Jon Hamm. Scarlett Johansson joins the pair at the oasis in the clip. Last year, Ritz rounded up Aubrey Plaza, Bad Bunny and Michael Shannon for their ad spot. Bad Bunny has gone from featured celeb to Super Bowl Halftime Show performer.

• Rob Riggle As Guac Guru

  

  Rob Riggle serves as Avocados from Mexico’s Guac Guru and participates in the controversial move of double dipping for the Super Bowl ad about guacamole and golden dip chips. Note that the golden dip chip is not actually edible!

• Kylie Kelce Teams Up With Dove

  Kylie Kelce, wife of former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, has partnered with Dove for a commercial this year.

• Sabrina Carpenter Is Sweet & Salty In Pringles Ad

  

  “Taste” singer Sabrina Carpenter teamed with Pringles to lead a commercial for the crisp chips. In a teaser for the clip, she plucks chips from a rose of Pringle petals, saying “He loves me” and “He loves me not.”

• Victoria Justice Aids In SVEDKA Commercial Choreography

  

  Sazerac Company recruited Victorious star Victoria Justice for SVEDKA Vodka’s first-ever Super Bowl Commercial. Justice helped select choreography from a nationwide dance competition full of submissions that a Fembot performs in the commercial.

• Chris Stapleton Stars In Sazerac’s Traveller Whiskey

  Sazerac will also air an ad for Traveller Whiskey prior to kickoff, featuring country music star Chris Stapleton. The country music star co-created the brand alongside Buffalo Trace master distiller Harlen Wheatley. The opening of the ad calls back to Stapleton’s performance of the 2024 National Anthem at the big game.

• ‘Lord of the Rings’ Star Elijah Wood Gets Summoned By Skittles

  Lord of the Rings star Elijah Wood plays a magical creature summoned by a horn to deliver skittles. The ad was first reported by People Magazine.

• Adrien Brody Brings ‘Brutalist’ Acting Chops To Turbo Tax Ad

  

  Two-time Academy Award winner Adrien Brody (The Brutalist, The Pianist) will bring the drama to a TurboTax ad spot, the 13th consecutive one for the company. Last year’s commercial featured Issa Rae weathering gale force winds with a box of paperwork to get the task done.

  The actor appeared in multiple spots, trying to bring out the drama of taxes in a black and white set noir commercial with rain.

• Andy Samberg Parodies Neil Diamond For Hellmann’s Mayonnaise

  

  Andy Samberg will parody Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” with “Sweet Sandwich Time” for Hellmann’s Mayonnaise, with a special cameo from Elle Fanning. Keith Lee also makes a cameo appearance alongside superstar Meal Diamond.

• Guy Fieri Shows Off Bold New Look For Bosch

  Guy Fieri debuted a very different new look, arranged by AI, for his Bosch Appliances commercial. The flavor finder posted about the ad with the caption “New Year. New Guy. New Look.” He’s just a Guy after all.

• Lady Gaga Covers ‘Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood’ Theme Song For Redfin/Rocket Spot

  

  Lady Gaga will be featured on Super Bowl LX in a spot for Redfin / Rocket in which she pays tribute to the PBS series Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. The spot is a first for the real estate company and sees the singer recording a cover of the show’s theme song, “Won’t You Be My Neighbor?”

  “Mr. Rogers was for generations a heartfelt presence for children and families all over the world,” Lady Gaga said in a statement. “I was honored to be asked by Rocket and Fred Rogers Productions to reimagine his beloved classic ‘Won’t You Be My Neighbor?’ for Rocket’s Super Bowl spot. I hope you sincerely enjoy this as much as I did, recreating it with fellow musicians and friends Alex Smith and Benjamin Rice.”

  With Bad Bunny performing in the Halftime Show, the spot highlights that many bilingual viewers will tune in, tapping into their nostalgia.

• ‘Giggly Squad’s Paige DeSorbo and William Fichtner Say “Yes Bueno” To Kinder’s Super Bowl LX Spot

  

  William Fichtner and Paige DeSorbo, host of the Giggly Squad podcast, star in a Super Bowl LX spot for Kinder Bueno chocolate bars. The commercial launches the “Yes Bueno” campaign in which a “No Bueno” situation turns into a “Yes Bueno” moment.

  “Life throws plenty of ‘No Bueno’ moments at you – I’ve depicted enough of them on screen to know,” Fichtner said. “Those ‘No Bueno’ moments demand focus and composure, no matter how dire the situation. Then there’s the temptation of Kinder Bueno – the chocolate, the wafer, the hazelnut…some combinations are just impossible to resist. I had to say Yes Bueno!”

  The “Yes Bueno” campaign and accompanying Big Game commercial were created by Anomaly and directed by Björn Rühmann. Rather than relying on post-production VFX, the team built a physical miniature extra-terrestrial planet set with practical lighting passes, bringing an authentic, cinematic quality worthy of the brand’s Big Game debut.

  Universal Studios Hollywood recruited star racing actor Vin Diesel to make a voice cameo in an ad spot advertising the new rollercoaster, Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift.

• Charli XCX And Rachel Sennott Team With Poppi

  Charli xcx is everywhere right now from her A24 mockumentary The Moment to red carpets for Emerald Fennell’s upcoming Wuthering Heights. She even had time to shoot a Super Bowl commercial with Poppi and actress Rachel Sennott, whose comedy I Love LA was recently renewed for a second season on HBO Max.

• Post Malone, Shane Gillis And Peyton Manning Reunite For Bud Light Spot

  

  Bud Light’s 2026 ad spot, titled “Keg” features a slow-motion montage of an entire wedding party risking it all to save a single keg of beer. Gillis and Post Malone featured in a commercial for the beer brand last year as well.

  Telemundo and Peacock have released a teaser for their Super Bowl 2026 World Cup commercial featuring lifelong soccer fan Owen Wilson. The Stick star previews the upcoming tournament, which takes place this summer in the United States, Mexico and Canada.

• State Farm Pulls Out All The Stops With Hailee Steinfeld, Danny McBride, Keegan-Michael Key, Katseye And Bon Jovi

  

  Sinners star Hailee Steinfeld portrays a client comparing an Insurance Agency to State Farm, prompting Danny McBride (The Righteous Gemstones) and Keegan-Michael Key (Only Murders in the Building) to burst into song comparing their company to State Farm, operating on the philosophy of “you get what you pay for.” Katseye even makes a cameo with their signature choreography.

  ‘Livin’ On A Prayer’ singer Bon Jovi also made an appearance with Jake from State Farm at the end.

  Steinfeld appeared in a cancer screening commercial last year alongside Wanda Sykes.

• Kathryn Hahn And Derrick Henry Discover OIKOS Yogurt Cups And Protein Shakes

  Kathryn Hahn (Agatha All Along, The Studio) and Baltimore Ravens Running Back Derrick Henry teamed up with Oikos in a San Francisco-set commercial that includes a cable car tour. This ad aired exclusively on Peacock’s broadcast of the game. Last year’s ad featured Ted Lasso and Fargo star Juno Temple.

  Tennis pro Serena Williams teamed up with GLP-1 medication brand Ro to advertise that she’s lost 34 pounds in a year being on the medication and has other health benefits.

  Star Trek star William Shatner shaved a few letters off his last name on theme with a Raisin Bran ad spot encouraging consumption of more fiber. The ‘Bran’ Ambassador pointed out a shitzu dog and more words that played into the commercial’s topic.

• ‘Friends’ And Other Sitcoms Spoofed In Ben Affleck’s Latest ‘Dunkin’ Super Bowl Commercial

  

  Ben Affleck and Dunkin’ have reunited for another Super Bowl commercial, this one pulling out all the 1990s sitcom stops with Jennifer Aniston making a cameo at the end with Tom Brady. Affleck turns out to be spoofing Ross (David Schwimmer) from Friends. Ted Danson made an applauded Cheers-esque appearance, and Matt LeBlanc, who played Joey in Friends also appeared. Seinfeld‘s Jason Alexander and Alfonso Ribeiro, Jaleel White and Jasmine Guy also appeared in the ad, which spoofed Good Will Hunting (1997) in comedy form.

  The Backstreet Boys promoted T-Mobile in a commercial with Machine Gun Kelly making a cameo. The boy band was the favored surprise to convince customers that the cell phone carrier was worth it.

• Taika Waititi Directs Pepsi Spot & Appears As Psychologist

  In one of two commercials directed by Taika Waititi (Our Flag Means Death, Next Goal Wins), a polar bear rediscovers himself after a blind taste test between Pepsi Zero Sugar and Coca Cola. The cola-loving bear selects Pepsi as the winner. The creature visits Waititi for a classic shrink session on a leather couch.
