HBO Max Moves Up Upcoming Episodes Of ‘Industry,’ ‘A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms’ Ahead Of Super Bowl

HBO Max has announced early airdates for the forthcoming episodes of Industry and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. The two Sunday night shows will be moved up to Friday, ahead of their respective HBO airings post-Super Bowl.

Industry Season 4 Episode 5 and A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms Season 1 Episode 4 will premiere on HBO Max Friday, Feb. 6 at 12:01 a.m. PT/3:01 a.m. ET. Their linear premieres will bow at their respective regular times, 9 p.m. ET and 10 p.m. ET.

This isn’t an unusual move for the cable network/streamer, which has previously moved up installments of offerings to avoid Super Bowl competition.

Hailing from two ex-bankers Konrad Kay and Mickey Down, Industry was launched in 2020 to little fanfare but much critical acclaim as it traced the lives of young grads cutting their teeth on the merciless trading floor of the prestigious London-based investment bank Pierpoint & Co. In its fourth season, the financial drama pits its host of characters on opposing sides of a flashy new fintech company, Tender.

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is the second spinoff tied to George R.R. Martin’s sprawling Game of Thrones universe. Set a century before the events of the prestige era hit, it follows two unlikely heroes who wander Westeros: a young, naïve but courageous knight, Ser Duncan the Tall (Peter Claffey), and his diminutive squire, Egg (Dexter Sol Ansell). Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes and dangerous exploits await these improbable friends. The six-episode season debuted with its pilot Jan. 18.
