Totally Spies! is making a FAST move. Several seasons of the hit animated series are rolling out on Rakuten TV’s FAST and on-demand services.
The launch comes with a Will Ferrell-produced live-action Totally Spies! series in the works at Amazon MGM Studios. A new Season of the 2D animated series, which follows globetrotting secret agents Sam, Clover and Alex, is also coming this year as the show hits its 25th anniversary. Its original six-season run dates back to 2001 when it launched on ABC Family and then Cartoon Network in the U.S.
Totally Spies! is owned by Banijay Kids & Family, which cut the deal with Rakuten TV. Seasons 1 and 2 of the series will launch on Rakuten TV in the UK, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain. Seasons 3 and 4 will be available across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Banijay has enjoyed success with its established brands on free streaming with the likes of Mr Bean: The Animated Series launching in several countries. Earlier this week, Banijay said there will be new merch and collectibles to celebrate Totally Spies! hitting a quarter of a century.
