‘America’s Culinary Cup’ Season 1 Cast Photos: All The Chefs Confirmed For CBS Cooking Competition

CBS has unveiled the names of the chefs competing in America’s Culinary Cup Season 1.

The cooking competition show hosted and produced by Padma Lakshmi is set to premiere on Wednesday, March 4, at 9:30 p.m. ET and stream on Paramount+.

Lakshmi will be joined by Michael Cimarusti and Wylie Dufresne as judges in the elite competition.

America’s Culinary Cup’s contestants include six Michelin-starred chefs, an honor held by fewer than one percent of restaurants worldwide, two Bocuse d’Or medalists, two James Beard Award winners, 14 James Beard Award nominees, and recipients of numerous other top-tier culinary honors.

The 16 contestants for America’s Culinary Cup Season 1 are: Kim Alter (San Francisco, CA), Katie Button (Asheville, NC), Keith Corbin (Los Angeles, CA), Rochelle Daniel (Flagstaff, AZ), Diana Dávila (Chicago, IL), Michael Díaz de León (Denver, CO), Sol Han (New York, NY), Russell Jackson (New York, NY), Beverly Kim (Chicago, IL), Buddha Lo (New York, NY), Chris Morgan (McLean, VA), Matt Peters (Austin, TX), Malyna Si (Jackson, WY), Cara Stadler (Madison, CT), Philip Tessier (Napa, CA), and Emily Yuen (New York, NY).

America’s Culinary Cup will test the chefs against the series’ ten culinary commandments – Meat, Vegetables, Sauces, Dessert, Innovation, Flavors, Sustainability, World Cuisine, Consistency, Culinary Science and Technology.

Lakshmi, Cimarusti, and Dufresne will evaluate taste, creativity, presentation, and technique to decide who advances, who is eliminated, and who ultimately masters the commandments and wins the biggest cash prize in culinary television history — $1 million.
