“Save Tony And Ziva” Campaign Hits Paris With Crowdfunded Mobile Billboard

The ‘Save Tony and Ziva’ campaign came to Paris today.

Organized by an NCIS fans account, the stunt saw a mobile digital billboard drive through the streets and past the most famous landmarks in France’s capital with the message “Save Tony and Ziva” and an accompanying QR code on the side.

The van first stopped at the L’Arc de Triomphe and made rounds of the city until about 7pm local time today, according to the @NCISTivaFans social media account. Over seven hours it visited spots such as the Opéra, Bastille, République, Rivoli, Champs-Élysées and Trocadéro.

They’ll always have Paris ❤️‍🔥

Paris holds a particular significance for NCIS: Tony & Ziva, as it was the city that reunited the popular Anthony “Tony” DiNozzo and Ziva David characters played by Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo, respectively. The series saw them co-parenting their daughter in the city, where they had been leading a peaceful life until Tony is framed for a crime.

In France, the series played strongly on the M6 network and its streaming service, after Paramount had sold it widely overseas.

Today news comes a month after the show was cancelled after a solitary season at Paramount+. The cancellation immediately triggered a fan campaign to save it, with fans buying a billboard near Times Square to urge Paramount to change the decision. Weatherly thanked the fans, saying it “maybe even nudged my tear ducts.”

Other signs also appeared in the city, and in high-density traffic areas of L.A., as the strength of feeling among fans was made real.

Tony & Ziva, which premiered September 4, 2025, was among Luminate’s Top 10 streaming series from September 5 to 11.

The first season also starred Amita Suman, Maximilian Osinski, Julian Ovenden, Nassima Benchicou, Lara Rossi, Isla Gie, Terence Maynard and James D’Arcy. The series, which sold internationally, is executive produced by McNamara, de Pablo, Weatherly, Laurie Lieser, Christina Strain, Shelley Meals, and Mairzee Almas. CBS Studios is the producer.
