‘The Burbs’ Trailer: Keke Palmer Takes On Creepy Neighbor In Peacock Series Reboot

The horrors of suburbia are no match for a concerned neighbor like Keke Palmer in ‘The Burbs.

On Friday, Peacock released the latest trailer for its upcoming series reboot of 1989 dark comedy, all eight episode of which are available to binge Feb. 8 on the streaming platform, featuring Palmer and Jack Whitehall as new parents Samira and Rob.

Moving into Rob’s childhood home in “the safest town in America,” Samira quickly becomes intrigued with the house across the street, which is supposedly haunted.

With the help of her new neighbors (Julia Duffy, Paula Pell and Mark Proksch), she investigates the mystery behind the home and its new tenant (Justin Kirk). Meanwhile, Rob appears to know more about the mysterious residence than he lets on.

Inspired by the Joe Dante-helmed film, which starred Tom Hanks and Carrie Fisher, the streaming series is created by Celeste Hughey.
