As the industry prepares for the Golden Globes on Sunday night, the first big package of 2026 is about to hit the market and has gotten the town buzzing. Sources tell Deadline an untitled new series from Entertainment 360 and A24 is hitting the market on Monday with Zooey Deschanel attached to star and exec produce. Matt Hausfater penned the script with Dave Bernad also producing through his Middle Child banner along with Entertainment 360. A24 is studio behind it.
Plot details are vague but sources say its a comedy series set at a flagship music superstore. Even thought he package won’t go out till Monday, sources say several networks from around town are already preparing to aggressively chase after it.
While she did appear in the Apple series Physical, this series would mark her first series developed for since her hit Fox show New Girl. The critically acclaimed series ran for eight seasons and also starred Jake Johnson, Max Greenfield and Lamorne Morris and continues to be have a strong following today through syndication. Given all the players behind the package, expect offers to come in hard and fast once it hits the market next week.
