‘NFL Top 100’ Renewed For A Second Season As X Original Series

NFL Films and X will continue producing NFL Top 100 on the X platform for a second season ahead of the 2026 football season.

After debuting in 2025 as an X Originals series, NFL Top 100 will continue to deliver short-form episodes throughout the preseason, which highlight the league’s players.

NFL Top 100 features under five-minute episodes revealing the league’s top players as voted on exclusively by the players themselves.

“We are thrilled to renew our NFL Top 100 for a second season on X and continue delivering great content to our fans,” said Ross Ketover, NFL Films senior executive. “The 2025 relaunch of the series was a perfect fit, allowing us to amplify player voices and connect directly with fans around one of the most debated topics in football over the past 15 years.”

Mitchell Smith, X’s head of original content, said, “The first season of NFL Top 100 delivered massive viewership, engagement, and viewer retention, proving that premium original quick-hitting sports content thrives on X. The show delivered an exceptional 440 million impressions during the inaugural season, reinforcing that X is the center of sports conversation. The NFL remains one of the hottest topics on the platform, and we’re excited to go bigger and bolder in season two with the immensely creative minds at NFL Films.”
