Victoria Jones Dies: Actor, Daughter Of Tommy Lee Jones Was 34

Victoria Jones, daughter of Oscar-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones, who appeared with her father in three of his films, was found dead in a San Francisco hotel on Thursday, Jan. 1, the San Francisco Chief Medical Examiner’s office confirmed to Deadline. She was 34.

San Francisco fire units responded to the Fairmont Hotel at 950 Mason St. for a report of a medical emergency at 2:52 am on Jan. 1, San Francisco Fire Lt. Mariano Elias said in a statement. Upon arrival, paramedics conducted an assessment and the individidual was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Fire Department said the case was turned over to the San Francisco Police Department and the Medical Examiner’s Office for further investigation.

The cause of death has not yet been determined.

Jones was one of two children of Tommy Lee Jones and Kimberlea Cloughley. She made her acting debut in 2002’s Men in Black II alongside her dad. She went on to appear in 2005’s The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrade, a film in which her father starred and directed. Her stepmother Dawn Jones also served as stills photographer on the film. Her last film appearance was in 2014’s The Homesman, which her father co-wrote, directed and starred. She also had a guest-starring role in an episode of the television series One Tree Hill.

Tommy Lee Jones won an Oscar and Golden Globe for his role in the feature film remake of The Fugitive in 1994. He also won a Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or a Special for The Executioner’s Song. He most recently appeared in 2023’s The Burialist and Finestkind.
