Peacock is digging up some more names for its upcoming comedy reunion between Mike Schur and Amy Poehler.
Tony-nominated actor Fina Strazza has joined the cast of Dig, the series which reunites the Parks and Recreation pair with Hugh Laurie also starring.
Based on Kate Myers’ book Excavation, Dig is centered on four women — one of them played by Poehler — working at an archeological dig in Greece who are at wildly different crossroads in their lives. When the team uncovers a long-buried secret with the potential to rewrite history, they find themselves at the center of a high-stakes international conspiracy.
Strazza will play Patty, the undergraduate assistant to Laurie’s Neville, a British professor who sincerely loves archaeology. Patty is in way over her head and the dig represents the first time she has ever been outside of the U.S.

The trio executive produce alongside Morgan Sackett, director Dean Holland as well as Dave Becky and David Miner for 3 Arts, Sharon Jackson for Ocean Avenue, and Kate Arend and Jordan Grief for Poehler’s Paper Kite. Myers is co-executive producer.
Strazza received a 2025 Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Play for her portrayal of Beth Powell in Broadway show John Proctor Is the Villain. She also recently starred in Netflix feature Fear Street: Prom Queen and Amazon series Paper Girls. She has also recurred on Law & Order: SVU and guest-starred on FBI: Most Wanted and Madam Secretary. Strazza made her Broadway debut at just 8 years old in the title role of Matilda the Musical.
She is repped by Paradigm, Mara Entertainment and Jackoway Austen Tyerman.
