Money Heist spin-off Berlin is now Berlin and the Lady with an Ermine.
The second season of Álex Pina and Esther Martínez Lobato’s hit Netflix series out of Spain will launch May 15 and new pics have dropped.
This next chapter, which has been given a new title, continues the universe of Money Heist and Berlin, and will focus on a new master heist set against the backdrop of Seville. Berlin and Damián bring the gang together to pretend to steal the Lady with an Ermine. But their real target is the Duke of Málaga and his wife, a couple who think they can blackmail Berlin. What they don’t expect is that their challenge will awaken Berlin’s darkest side — and his thirst for revenge.
Money Heist is one of Netflix’s most successful non-English-language shows of all time and Berlin has deftly followed in its footsteps. Pina and Martínez Lobato also just launched Netflix’s Billionaires’ Bunker, a super rich parody that Pina recently told us is an “amalgamation of soap opera, black comedy, jail drama and thriller.”
