EXCLUSIVE: Skye P. Marshall, best known for her breakout role in CBS’ Matlock, has signed with Verve for representation.
Marshall received her second Critics Choice Award nomination Friday morning for her role as attorney Olympia Lawrence opposite Kathy Bates in Matlock. She also has been recognized for her work on the series by the Gotham TV Awards and the Critics Choice Celebration of Black Cinema & TV.
She most recently was tapped as one of the presenters of the 2026 Golden Globe nominations, alongside Marlon Wayans, set for this Monday, Dec. 8.
Marshall’s feature work includes comedic thriller Coup!, opposite Peter Sarsgaard and Billy Magnussen, which premiered at the 2023 Venice Film Festival, as well as Qasim Basir’s critically acclaimed Sundance pic To Live & Die and Live.
Her other television credits include Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, the CW/Berlanti Productions superhero series Black Lightning and CBS’ medical drama Good Sam.
In addition to her screen work, Marshall is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force.
