EXCLUSIVE: A Western thriller film starring Orphan Black actor Ari Millen from Canada’s HighballTV is being sold at Content London this week.
Gold Blooded, directed by Matt Campagna and Andre Rehal, follows a pair of Marshals who nab an outlaw after a heist goes bad and he is separated from his crew. The outlaw is forced to betray his posse, but with a race on to find the stolen gold, one Marshal turns against the other and an every-man-for-himself bloodbath begins.
Millen (Orphan Black, Vicious Fun), Maurice Dean Wint (Surreal Estate, Cube), Patrick Kwok Choon (Star Trek Discovery, Surreal Estate) and Damian Romeo (Ginny & Georgia, Wild Dogs), with Lara Zaluski (Fargo, Hell On Wheels), Justin Michael Carriere (The Expanse, Murdoch Mysteries) and Foad HP (Strangers in a Room, Wild Dogs) also in the cast.
Rehal and Foad HP are the writers and Johnathan Sharp is the producer. L.A.-based distributor Multivisionnaire Pictures is representing the film for U.S. and international sales during Content London, and we hear the plan is to strike TV and streaming deals.

“This is a throwback spaghetti western with a cutting-edge sensibility and modern aesthetic, and we’re excited to share the film,” said Sean T. Haley, Managing Partner at Multivisionnaire.
Production on the film recently wrapped, and post production begins this winter.
HighballTV, the Canadian-based production and distribution company, offer film festivals titles via a global subscription streaming service.
