Cinema Eye Honors is out with its 2026 nominations for nonfiction and documentary films and TV series, and director Ryan White’s Andrea Gibson doc Come See Me in the Good Light leads the way with six mentions. See the full list below.
Mstyslav Chernov’s 2000 Meters to Andriivka, Laura Poitras and Mark Obenhaus’ Cover-Up and Brittany Shyne’s Seeds are next with five each; they and Come See Me in the Good Light all are up for the marquee Outstanding Nonfiction Feature prize, along with Albert Serra’s Afternoons of Solitude, Geeta Gandbhir’s The Perfect Neighbor and Sepideh Farsi’s Put Your Soul on Your Hand and Walk.
Shyne is the most-nominated person this year with four, and Poitras becomes the all-time Cinema Eye Honors noms leader with 16 including three today. She has five career wins.
